Netball 2003/4 1st match

Deganwy vs. Lladrillo-yn-Rhos

    On 5th November 2003 Ysgol Llandrillo-Yn-Rhos came to Deganwy to play a netball match. Llandrillo won the toss, and took the first centre. They soon scored and the heat was on. Jessica Watters scored a thrashing goal so just two minutes into the game it was 1-1.

    Chloe Miliziano caught the ball and scored a fabulous goal which made it 2-1 to Deganwy. We got the ball and it was back to the to the goal circle. YES! Well done Jess, we've got yet another goal. Lauren, our captain, was quick on court (she must have eaten lots of jaffa-cakes). At half time the score was 3-1 to Deganwy.

    Straight away Lauren got the ball and scored a lovely goal, but then there was a brilliant interception from Llandrillo-Yn-Rhos. The ball sped up the court and Llandrillo scored a brilliant goal. The score was now 4-2 to us.

    Lauren again received the ball and scored! Llandrillo-yn-Rhos then got the ball and after a few passes they managed to score. Deganwy got the ball and quickly scored, which made it 6-3. Deganwy centre, which went straight into the net. 7-3. Llandrillo got the ball up to their side and scored another goal .7-4.  

    Jessica Bromley was doing well with finding spaces and Abby was marking well.

   Chloe got the ball and scored a gorgeous goal, straight in the basket which then was followed by a excellent shot from Llandrillo. The whistle blew and the match came to an end. The final score 8-5 to Deganwy.
