Nant BH 2009

Adventure Holiday

Hill Walking & Gorge Walking

Year 6 and some of year 5 went to Nant Bwlch-yr-Haern  for a super adventure holiday. We did lots of exciting activities such as orienteering, Gorge Walking, Canoeing, thinking skills, the zip wire and hill walking.

There were two separate rambles, one up Crimpiau, which overlooks Llyn Crafnant, and another up Pen-y-Gaer.

The instructor is showing his team the way up Pen-y-Gaer.

Having a little breather on the way up Crimpiau.

We could see beautiful mountain views.

We had to work our way under a fallen, twisted oak.

The group have finally conquered Crimpiau and are perched on the summit

Looking down over the Conwy Valley on our way up Pen-y-Gaer.
