On Thursday 14th June 2001 Ysgol Deganwy competed in a football tournament at Ysgol Morfa Rhianedd.

Our first game was against Ysgol Bodafon.  Deganwy kicked off and after 3 minutes James Hobson put the ball in the back of the net. At half time it was 1-0 to Deganwy. After four minutes Ross scored an excellent goal. We had a couple of chances then Wesley scored. Then after a few minutes the final whistle went.

Our second game was against Ysgol Morfa Rhianedd. Both teams had chances but at last Steven Evans scored for Deganwy. Deganwy again managed to break through the Morfa Rhianedd defence and Hobson put the ball in the back of the net. After one minute Hobson scored again to make it 3 – 0 and a minute later the half time whistle went.  After a few minutes in the second half Morfa Rhianedd scored but at the final whistle Ysgol Deganwy had won their second game 3-1.

It was Tudno kick off and after about 4 minutes Ross scored. Many shots later the half time whistle went. Deganwy took centre and soon James Lyon was fouled. Deganwy pushed forward and Ross scored. Straight after Hobson scored. The final whistle then blew and Deganwy won 3-0.
