Our Finnish E-pals

All the children in Year 5/6 regularly exchange e-mails with e-pals at a school at Oulunsal in Finland.  The two schools have also used ordinary post to exchange the pupils' own pictures and writing about their schools and interests.  Here a Finn describes their school and school day, which starts at 8 o'clock in the morning!

Our school is big and red. It's made with tile.  It is situated in Oulunsal near the neighbourhood.  We like its location.  Our school was built in  1986.  Something special in the school is that all the teachers are so nice!  Class 6a has e-mail friends in Wales.
