Eisteddfod 2009

   An Eisteddfod is a Welsh competitive festival. Every year Ysgol Deganwy have their school Eisteddfod. Children from every class display their different talents in drama, poetry, dance, singing and instrumental music. Our houses Creuddyn, Gogarth and Maelgwn compete against each other for the school shield. Many children wore many different costumes including traditional Welsh dress.

For the first time ever the eisteddfod finished with a tie between Maelgwn and Creuddyn. Here  Mrs Webster is presenting the Maelgwn and Creuddyn captains with the school shield
