Eisteddfod 2005

Every year our school holds an Eisteddfod (an Eisteddfod is a competitive festival of the arts). Our school is divided into three houses Gogarth, Creuddyn and Maelgwyn. Most of the children wear traditional welsh costumes and daffodils. We have the Eisteddfod on or close to Saint David's Day (Saint David is the patron saint of Wales and Saint David's day is the first of March which is the time of year when daffodils come into flower).

During the festival the children recite Welsh poems, dance, sing Welsh songs and play musical instruments.

At the end of the Eisteddfod the team Creuddyn won.
