Chess Club

    In October 2004 Mrs. Gunn started a chess club for year 6 pupils. It is held most Wednesdays after school in Mrs. Gunn's classroom and it finishes around half past four.

    Most of the members in the club already know how to play chess. Mrs. Gunn is hoping to enter a chess championship.

    I like chess because it is challenging and you have to think before you move a piece whether it is safe to do so.
