Bike ability

Everybody knows that it is important for people to keep fit and healthy. We can do this by cycling and walking instead of using a car, which will reduce our carbon footprint and save our environment from global warming.

Our school has recently had a new entrance and a bike shed built, which is very handy, considering the children who cycle to school used to have nowhere to put their bikes. Two years ago nobody cycled to school but the new bike shed has increased the number of children who do cycle.

In the past week, year 6 have taken a bike ability test. Police officers P.C Mark Walmsley and  P.C Delia Bellis have been teaching the children how to cycle safely on the road.
