Adventure Break in Snowdonia.2008

Year six had a fantastic time at an Outward Bound centre called Nant B-H in Snowdonia.

We did lots of fun activities such as night walking, orienteering, zipping down a high wire, going round the assault course and canoeing. But the favourite for most was gorge walking.

Here is one of the groups starting their gorge walk.

A group having fun sliding and climbing up and down the cascades in the gorge.

Our instructor fastened safety ropes to help us down one or two of the more awkward spots.

Starting to traverse the waterfall.

Halfway across the traverse.

The low ropes assault course.

Traversing the wobbly plank.

Going down the high zip wire.

A group getting ready to start canoeing across Llyn Geirionydd.

We learnt how to balance in the canoe.
