Tudor
towns were dirty and very smelly.
People in the Tudor times were also dirty and smelly. They washed their clothes in the river which was full of dirt so they were very disgusting .
On the side of the streets there were beggars begging for money. Some of these people would sing, some of them would hide one of their arms or legs they did this so people felt sorry for them.
Tudor towns were muddy and the mud was deep. So it must have been very hard to cross the road. Farmers from other places like the country came with their animals to the market as well .
The town would get very crowded with people and animals so the town would get sweaty. This is another reason why the towns were so unclean.
The houses would be quite clean because all of their gunk and rubbish went out of the window. Some people had to be careful or some of it would land on their heads.
Sometimes in the winter the streets would not be used as much because the streets be muddy and the mud would squelch into their shoes.
