Tag Rugby
Children in Years 3 and 4 have been learning to play Tag Rugby, which is a non-contact sport. We have been practising after school with Mr Antoine, Miss Russell and Mrs Jones. All the children wear a velcro belt with two tags attached. Instead of tackling an opponent who has the ball you grab one of their tags.
Each session after school begins with a group practice session when we learn skills like chasing and dodging. Then we have a simple game between two teams.
At the end of term some of the children will be competing in a tournament against other schools.
