Learning Logs
Early in 2010 the children began working on Learning Logs as a replacement for conventional homework.
Teachers set a task on a weekly or fortnightly basis which the children work on at home and sometimes in school, largely using their own initiative and preferences in deciding how the work is presented.
This open-ended approach gives the children more chance for self-expression and offers them a different kind of challenge than worksheets do.

Below are just a few examples of early Learning Logs done by children of varying age and ability.
