An artist helps Year 6

     An artist called Eleri Jones came to help Year 6 make  a display for the school hall. It was about an ancient story called 'Branwen' from the Mabinogion tales.

        It is a collage made by sticking different materials down. We used felt, paper, wool, cardboard and pastels.

        The website monitors took photos of the four main panels.

Here is Bendigeidfran (a giant) standing by the sea watching the Irish ships come in.

This is Branwen, Bendigeidfran's sister. She can talk to birds.

Here is Bendigeidfran walking through the sea to go and save his sister.

Here is Bendigeidfran acting as a bridge so his men can get across the river.
