     King Henry had 6 wives.  His first wife was called Catherine of Aragon. She had baby girl called Mary, who later became queen.

      King Henry had always wanted a son.  So he divorced Catherine.  His second wife was called Anne Boleyn. She had a baby too and it was a girl called Elizabeth, who also became queen.

      King Henry beheaded Anne Boleyn.  His 3rd wife was called Jane

 Seymour. She had a son called Edward, who later became king.

      His 4th wife was called Anne of Cleves. She didn't have any children and she got divorced.

      His 5th wife was Catherine Howard. She got executed.

      His 6th wife was Catherine Parr and she outlived King Henry.
